DR Congo president Félix Tshisekedi’s spouse, first lady Denise Nyakeru has come under scrutiny for her continuous dealings with controversial and notorious businessmen in the country.
Denise Nyakeru is involved in several businesses with convicted drug dealer Eric Mandala as well as controversial Lebanese national Abed Achour.
Mandala who is very close to Tshisekedi’s wife, has been arrested in Madrid, Spain for smuggling drugs into the country from South America.
On the other hand, Abed Achour has been widely mentioned in several illegal businesses such as embezzlement or theft of government funds and evasion of tax.
In the wake of the continued controversial incidents involving the two businessmen, Denise Nyakeru is now been called to clearly state her relations and what exactly she deals in with Eric Mandala and Abed Achour.
