Congo River Alliance (AFC) and M23 Rebel-coalition leader Corneille Nangaa is not among the five representatives that have traveled to attend the dialogue talks with the Congolese government in Luanda, Angola.
The AFC/M23 rebels’ contingent led by Benjamin Mbonimpa, as head of the mission, left Goma this afternoon for the Angolan capital ahead of the meeting tomorrow.
Mbonimpa is being a accompanied by four others namely John Muhire, Doudou Tikaileli, Cédric Piema and Col. Dieudonné Padiri.
General Bertrand Bissimwa who is the leader of the M23 rebel movement had initially being set to lead the delegation before the Congolese government insisted that no convicted member attends the meetings.
Meanwhile, the Congolese government have announced that Deputy Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Bemba will be leading its delegation which has also arrived in Luanda.
