Democratic Republic of Congo’s imposter president Félix Tshisekedi is not slowing down on his insatiable gluttony for wealth at the expense of the nation.
Tshisekedi has just received approval for a US$224.7 million loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) arrangement.
The ECF arrangement is a medium-term financial assistance to low-income countries with protracted balance of payments problems.
This new loan to be disbursed has raised concern in the country that has seen huge amounts of funds embezzlement under the Tshisekedi regime.
The IMF has recently noted the need for DR Congo to manage properly funds from a revised mining deal.
