Democratic Republic of Congo national team coach Sebastien Desabre is this Friday expected in Kinshasa after a successful trip to Europe on a mission to recruit new players ahead of the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.
The Frenchman traveled to Europe where he has spent the last few weeks and met a number of players born in Europe and eligible to feature for the Leopards.
Desabre is said to have convinced a number of players to represent the DR Congo as he looks to strengthen his squad for the crucial AFCON qualifiers against Gabon.
On Monday 29 May, Desabre is set to avail his Leopards squad for the June 18th encounter against the Panthers of Gabon.
A host of new faces expected to make Desabre’s roaster following his successful trip in Europe.
