Africa’s rising dictator Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, yesterday ordered government agents at N’djili International Airport in Kinshasa to block journalist Peter Tiani from flying to Lubumbashi.
Tiani described as scandalous the behavior of DGM officials to block him from flying out.
“It’s a scandal!!! I have just been banned from boarding for Lubumbashi for no reason with brutality and disdain by the DGM.
“I am asked to check with the hierarchy. This is unacceptable,” he accepted.
President Tshisekedi has weighed heavily on critics and opponents some of whom like Salomon Idi Kalonda Della, special advisor for opposition leader Moise Katumbi, in military confinement on trumped up charges.
Others are international journalist Stanis Bujakera, parliamentarian Mike Mukebayi and civil society activists.
