At a time multitudes are being displaced because of the war in eastern DR Congo with millions suffering, President Felix Tshisekedi was on Wednesday night spotted at The Parc des Princes for a Champions League match that saw visitors Barcelona beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2.
Tshisekedi disappeared from DRC last week without telling his compatriots where he was going. Congolese have since been speculating about his whereabouts with some suggesting he was critically ill somewhere.
But it has since emerged that after leaving DRC, he secretly went to neighboring Rwanda for the 30th commemoration of the genocide before proceeding to Paris for a UEFA Champions League match between PSG and Barcelona.
Whether he took bad luck or not to The Parc des Princes we will never know – just like his return date to Kinshasa remains a mystery.
