INJURY BLOW: Wissa To Miss DRC’S Back-To-Back Qualifier Against Tanzania

Yoane Wissa will miss the double clash against Tanzania in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series next month.

Injured in mid-game against Manchester City (2-1) on Saturday, September 14, the Congolese striker will be out of the field for at least two months. This announcement is from Brentford Training Coach Thomas Frank on Thursday 19th September 2024.

“Wissa’s injury is not good news.

“It looks like it’s an injury that will last between 2 and 3 months,” the London club can read on social media.

A new injury that hurts the Congolese who will not see their jewels Yoane and Ngal’ayel Mukau of Lille, all who were declared ready for the DRC’s double clash against Tanzania, scheduled for next October.

This unavailability announced by the English club suggests that winger Wissa may also miss the last (return) matches of the CAN Morocco 2025 qualifiers against the Walya of Ethiopia and the Syli of Guinea Conakry respectively in November.
