HOLY EMBEZZLEMENT: Catholic Priest Called Implicated in US$1.1 Million Embezzlement Scandal

The Archbishop of South Kivu Province François-Xavier Maroy Rusengo has been called to justify his involvement in the approval of US$1.1 million embezzlement scandal.

A document signed by the “Christians of the Holy Family Parish of Bagira” demands for explanations from Archbishop Rusengo to account for the expenditure of over a million dollars belonging to the church’s .

Archbishop Rusengo has been summoned to justify the spending of the said funds in a letter entitled “Christians of the Holy Family Parish of Bagira”.
