Zambian & TP Mazembe football legend Rainford Kalaba has today been discharged from Lusaka’s University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
Kalaba was involved in a tragic road traffic accident near Zambian capital and was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago.
Kalaba was admitted into the UTH’s intensive care unit after the accident which also claimed the life of one, identified as Charlene Mumba who was driving the vehicle.
The UTH have since released a statement confirming the ex-football star has been discharged from hospital and will continue his recovery from home with family.

UPDATE: MR RAINFORD KALABA HAS BEEN DISCHARGED FROM THE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL-ADULT
Mr. Rainford Kalaba has been discharged from the UTH-Adult where he was admitted after being involved in a road traffic accident two weeks ago.
Today marks exactly 14 days from the time of his admission.
He is going to recuperate at his family home.
