President Félix Tshisekedi has filed his nomination to recontest his position as the number one servant but his passage to a second term is not guaranteed.
Tshisekedi, a new dictor in Africa , became the 13th person vying for top office in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
His first term has been disastrous with corruption on an exponential rise while prices for food and essential goods skyrocket.
Insecurity has risen in the DRC with 244 rebel groups recorded. The DRC, under Tshisekedi, has also lost its territory in the east to both Rwanda and Uganda.
Congolese will have to chose a candidate on December 20 that will represent their dignity and will restore the country to normalcy.
