War crimes ex-convict and current deputy Prime Minister of Transport Jean-Pierre Bemba has accused former republican president Joseph Kabila and opposition leader Moïse Katumbi of conniving to eliminate president Félix Tshisekedi.
Without any evidence to to support his claims, Bemba went ahead to launch heavy accusations claiming Kabila and Moïse Katumbi acting together with some members of the National Episcopal Conference of Congo (CENCO) might, at one point, have intended to eliminate Tshisekedi.
“I accuse Kabila, Katumbi and some CENCO officials of wanting to eliminate Félix Tshisekedi,” he let Bemba hear without however revealing evidence in support.
In a rule of law, the competent law enforcement services should be bound to summon Bemba to explain and substantiate the origin of these serious allegations.
