Democratic Republic of Congo incompetent president Félix Tshisekedi embarrassed himself when he publicly claimed that his government has stabilized the nation’s economy.
Speaking on national TV today, Tshisekedi foolishly lied that his government had financed several projects, which he could not even name, after stabilized the economy.
“We have stabilized the macroeconomic framework, improved the business environment and mobilized financing on more favorable conditions. These advances have widened our cash flow margins and enabled the Public Treasury to finance structuring projects,” Tshisekedi claimed.
In actual sense, the DR Congo’s economy is currently at its worst ever with US$1 now trading at 2830 Congolese francs, the highest rate in Congolese economy history.
The nation’s capital Kinshasa is faced with several infrastructure problems including lack of roads and drainages while several parts of the country lack health care centres and schools.
Perhaps the projects Tshisekedi claims to have carried out is the settlement of his late father’s pension after having served as Prime Minister.
