Leading opposition political parties in the Democratic Republic of Congo have met to form an alliance to oppose the proposal by impostor president Félix Tshisekedi’s move to revise the national constitution.

A number of meetings and talks are taking shape as the opposition look to defeat Tshisekedi’s bid to cling on to power after 2028 by tempering with the constitution.
Leading opposition parties in Moïse Katumbi’s Ensemble Pour la Republique, Lamuka Coalition led by Martin Fayulu, Delly Sesanga’s ENVOL and the former ruling FCC party which was led by former Honorary President Joseph Kabila have formed the alliance for anti-revision campaign.
Former Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo and his LGD party are also opposing Tshisekedi’s fraud and will hold a public rally to denounce the proposal to revise the constitution.
