The Democratic Republic of Congo have been drawn against Senegal, Sudan, South Sudan, Togo and Mauritania in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying series.
Interestingly, Congo is currently in the same group with Sudan and Mauritania for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifeirs.

In Group F, there are Gambia, Kenya, Burundi, Seychelles, Gabon, and Cote d’Ivoire.
Group G includes Mozambique, Somalia, Uganda, Botswana, Guinea, and Algeria.
Group H features Namibia, Liberia, Sao Tome and Principe, Malawi, Equatorial Guinea, and Tunisia.
