FAMILY CHAOS IN THE PARTY: Tshisekedi’s Mother & Wife Divided over Augustin Kabuya’s Stay as SG

Confusing is ensuing in the ruling Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) party as President Félix Tshisekedi’s family differ over positions in the high-ranking party structures.

Tshisekedi’s wife and first lady, Denise Nyakeru is determined to get rid of party Secretary General Augustin Kabuya immediately.

An audio has gone viral in Kabuya has been heard pleading for the intervention of Tshisekedi’s Maman Marthé, a well-respected figure in the UDPS.

Kabuya has bitterly complained and claims Denise Nyakeru wants his head.

Meanwhile, Maman Marthé has since order her son, Félix Tshisekedi, to keep Kabuya in the party structures as Secretary General.

How far can this crisis go? It remains to be seen.
