National Agency of Meteorology and Teledetection by Satellite (METTELSAT) CEO Joseph Itela Ilondo has been found guilty of misappropriation of funds by the Court of Auditors.
Illondo has been charged for having diverted the agency’s funds amounting to US$5,200 to his personal bank accounts.
He has since been ordered to pay a fine of 27 million Congolese francs failure to which he will be facing prosecution.
