Congolese boxer Marcelat Sakobi will not proceed any further at at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games after losing to Sotiro Tourbekova of Uzbekistan in the Women’s Featherweight Round of 16 on Tuesday.
Sakobi was defeat via a narrow 3-2 points scoreline the by Uzbek in a bout which saw the Congolese woman put up a hard fought performance with the hope of arranging more bridges in all the rounds.
