DRAW WITH TASTE OF VICTORY: Maniema Manage to Hold Raja at Home

DR Congo’s envoys in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League AS Maniema Union managed to pick up another important draw at home to Moroccan giants Raja Athletic Club in Kinshasa this afternoon.

Maniema came from goal down to collect a precious point at Stade des Martyrs in their second Group B match.

Striker Joseph Bukasa got the equalizer for Maniema in the 79th minute to cancel out Youness Najari’s goal for Raja earlier in the 16th minute.

Today’s result leaves Maniema in 2nd place in Group B with 2 points, while Raja are bottom of the group with just a point.

Maniema come up another Moroccan side AS Far Rabat in their next match slated for 14th December in Kinshasa.
