DICTATORSHIP: Tshisekedi’s Officers Take Ailing Diongo Before A Judge Two Weeks After Arrest

Opposition MLP leader Frank Diongo was yesterday briefly brought before a judge more than two weeks since he was arrested on trumped up charges.

Diongo was arrested shortly after attending a funeral President Felix Tshisekedi attended at which his supporters appeared to outnumber those of the Head of State.

However, he has been slapped with some flimsy charges one of which is related to providing his supporters as security shield for popular opposition leader Moise Katumbi during his visit to Kinshasa recently.

Diongo was detained at DEMIAP by the military intelligence but sources said yesterday that he was being transferred to the Ndolo
Military Prison after a brief hearing at the military auditorium of Gombe in Kinshasa.

Diongo is reportedly ill and on hunger strike.
