The office of the General Directorate of Administrative, Judicial, Property and Participation Revenues (DGRAD) in Kinshasa has caught fire in controversial circumstances.
It is believed that some individuals had attempted to burn down the building in order to destroy court evidence of an embezzlement related case.
The fire first broke out on late on Saturday night with the DGRAD confirming the development which they claim was initially caused by a short circuit and did not cause any loss of human life.
However, sources have revealed that the fire was allegedly started by some individuals who attempted to set the central administration’s office ablaze.
