CORRUPT GOVERNOR REJECTED: National Deputies Sign Vote of No Confidence Against Fifi Masuka, US$20,000 Bribes Rejected

Fifi Masuka Saini’s reign as governor of the Lualaba Province is coming to end following petitions signed against her by majority of the National Deputies in the province.

Masuka who has been implicated in several corruption scandals and illegal mining dealings, has been disowned by 17 National Deputies from 3 Alliances (A24, A25 and AN) who have denounced her “self-centered and despotic” governance.

In her habitual way of resolving matters using corruption with the money she has amassed through dubious means, Masuka attempted to bribe the National Deputies into withdraw their signatures of disavowal and recant.

Last week, Masuka had sent her assistant Souzy Ayeganagato with a some of for US$200,000 to share amongst the National Deputies in exchange of withdrawal of the signatures against her.

However, the National Deputies remain determined to have the corrupt governor removed and turned her US$20,000 bribe offer.
