CONGO ON THE EDGE: Hopeless Tshisekedi Dragging DR Congo onto It’s Knees, PPRD Party

The Democratic Republic of Congo is currently sitting on the edge with the M23 Rebel Group advancing rapidly in its ambition to take over the government of Fèlix Tshisekedi.

Tshisekedi and his government have so far failed to provide solutions to be able to contain the rampant M23 fighters who have taken control of major part of the country’s eastern region.

Former ruling party, the People’s Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) have strongly denounced Tshisekedi and his regime’s plot to hang the blame of its failure to protect the country and its territories on former President Joseph Kabila.

In a statement released on Sunday, the PPRD Party have wondered why Tshisekedi and his government have resorted to literally having to plead with its rivals to ceasefire rather equipping and solidifying the Congolese army (FARDC) to be able to fight and protect the country.

“The PPRD, Avant-Garde Party also recalls that the same regime currently in power, instead of giving substantial resources to our valiant FARDC to neutralize all armed groups, this regime is working to sign multiple agreements, in particular pooling of forces and ceasefires which bring the Republic to its knees without hope of liberating the territorial space of the DRC where our sovereignty is already undermined” the statement signed by PPRD permanent secretary Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary reads.

The party has since issued a warning to the Tshisekedi regime to desist from using the name of Joseph Kabila in its foolish attempts to shift the minds of the population away from the deteriorating security situation in the east which it has failed to address.

“The Party dear to Joseph KABILA KABANGE launches a warning to this regime which is failing to start and strategic solutions to bring peace and security to the country in general and to the East in particular and asks it to stop using named after Joseph KABILA KABANGE and his political family to create comedies with the aim of harming the image of this personality of the Republic who frightens with his eloquent silence” the statement adds.
