Opposition Ensemble Pour la Republique party youth leader Jacky Ndala appeared before the Kinshasa/Kinkole Court this Tuesday morning after being sued by the state for spreading falsehoods.
Ndala had alleged that he was sodomized while in detention earlier this year at the National Intelligence Authority (ANR) headquarters where he was jailed for a different case.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges of spreading falsehoods with the trial set to continue next month.
It is now more than confirmed that DRC has become a very dangerous country for opponents of the Félix Tshisekedi regime as well as journalists.
So not only did the intelligence authorities sodomize him but also filed a complaint against the victim for spreading false rumors.
