CLUELESS GOVERNMENT: Tshisekedi & Ministers Propose Day Off to Celebrate While Population Continues to be Victimized in Eastern DRC

Democratic Republic of Congo’s imposter President Félix Tshisekedi and his cabinet have foolishly proposed declaration of a public holiday to celebrate victims of the ongoing war in the eastern region.

While the situation in the east continues to pose adverse humanitarian effects on the citizens, Tshisekedi and his cabinet can afford to go on a paid day off instead of providing immediate solutions to counter the war.

On the 5th Council of Ministers chaired by Tshisekedi, Human Rights Minister Chantal Mwandianvita proposed for 2nd August of each year to be declared a day of commemoration Congolese genocide.

Mwandianvita also proposed for the creation of the National Fund for Reparations for Victims of Sexual Violence Related to Conflicts and Victims of Crimes against the Peace and Security of Humanity.

The situation in the eastern region continues to require the intervention of the government as the M23 rebels continue to gain massive control of strategic territories of North Kivu Province.
