CARELESS LEADERS: Congo Defence Minister Attended Party While M23 Took Control of Eastern Region

Democratic Republic of Congo is experiencing one of its worst security situations encountered and its leaders seem not to be concerned about the situation.

Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita had been feasting and dancing to rhumba music at the very point the FARDC soldiers where being disarmed by the M23 rebels in Goma.

Footage of Muadiamvita while attending his wife’s birthday party has been shared online on Sunday evening when the M23 rebels seized the entire eastern region.

Muadiamvita who replaced war crimes ex-convict Jean-Pierre Bemba last year, had been appointed with the task of protecting the Congolese territory which he has ended up giving away to the rebels which enjoying the luxuries of his position.
