BACK TO REALITY: Francophonie IX Games Exposed DR Congo’s Mediocrity — Seth Kikuni

After a jubilant 10 day long period of the sports festivities at the just concluded 2023 Francophonie IX Games, normalcy returns to the DR Congo, a country ravaged by war, poverty and abuses.

Aspiring 2023 Presidential candidate Seth Kikuni says the just ended Francophonie IX Games exposed to the globe the mediocrity of the DR Congo.

Kikuni said there were more negatives that came with the Games being hosted in a country that has a yet to find solutions to a number of problems faced in the country.

“The Francophonie are gone and had the merit of revealing the quality of our mediocrity. The show looked as though it was in 1974 with its share of personality cult was presented as a great achievement to the young Congolese people in this 21st century” Kikuni said.

Kikuni urged the Congolese people to give themselves a reality check after the merriment that came with the Francophonie as the country continues to see news of numerous deaths and unmet expectations on the part of the government as well as other injustices.

“Lets get back to business, Cherubin Okende’s family is still waiting for justice. A significant part of the territory is still occupied. A young women at the age of the president’s children was raped and killed in these territories occupied by militia groups,

The problem of purchasing power for the population remains unresolved and the CENI in Kadima still insists on operating fraudulently by continuing to manufacture figures that do not exist” he said.
