AMERICA MUST NOT WATCH DRC BLOODSHED: Tshisekedi’s Manouvers To Rig Election Will Throw Congo In Turmoil

It is either Katanga will secede or Congolese blood will shed indiscriminately.

What we saw as a sham of an election yesterday organized by Democratic Republic of Congo President Felix Tshisekedi and CENI president Deni Kadima was the most shambolic, stupid and idiotic way of wasting $1 billion.

In a country that 80 percent of its population live in abject poverty, millions are internally displaced and millions have died as a result of corruption, war and sheer carelessness from its leadership, the least its people expect is a decent way of choosing its leaders.

Yesterday was a disaster. One of the most expensive election was organized to brew confusion; Kadima organized the election as a conduit to shed blood – the blood that inflates Tshisekedi’s cheeks and keeps him thriving.

They voted in their homes, in beer-holes, toilets, kraals and

It’s unacceptable, ridiculous and shameful that in this day and age, the DRC should put up a shambolic display of an election and call it democratic.

Well, even in Tshisekedi’s plan to put together a sham of an election, we understand opposition leader Moise Katumbi has scored impressive numbers and is headed for victory.

However, Tshisekedi is planning to switch the results to his favor. This is the beginning of chaos. Congolese blood will be on the streets because no one is destined to accept an outcome brewed in Tshisekedi’s head.

It’s for this reason that we urge the Americans, the European Union and the international community to act swiftly and stop Tshisekedi from throwing the Congo into bloodshed.

We, as DRC, are better safe than sorry. And American knows too well that this election they funded and helped stage would have far reaching consequences on the world economy as a whole.

The people of Congo have suffered enough. They don’t want to see another grand-scale war. All they want is to govern themselves decently and maturely.

And their choice, amidst the chaos, should still be respected. Majority of the Congolese have elected Katumbi as its new president and there should be no changing these results.

For this reason, we expect the Americans to pay attention. President Joe Biden and the United Nations have enough on their table and the Congo war is something they don’t want as an agenda item.

Act now and give the Congolese their choice.
