ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT: Kasai-Central Revenue Board DG Dismissed After Financial Audit

Kasai-Central Province governor John Kabeya has announced the dismissal of the province’s Revenue Department (DGRKAC) boss Simon Ntumba.

Ntumba’s sacking comes after he was found guilty of embezzling funds and administrative incompetencies.

Governor Kabeya revealed on Saturday that the decision to dismiss Ntumba had been arrived at after an internal audit mission in the management of DGKRAC.

However, Ntumba has bemoaned the decision for his dismissal him and describes the move as politically motivated by Governor Kabuya and the Finance department in the province.
