Democratic Republic of Congo’s honorary former leader Joseph Kabila’s family house in Kinshasa was yesterday attacked by thugs allegedly sent by dictator president Félix Tshisekedi.
Tshisekedi has grown impatient and insecure about Kabila’s silence and non-reaction despite having planted several attempts to attack the Kabila family.
A group of UDPS party bandits armed with machetes from the Kabila family residence in Kinshasa’s GLM commune and left the house in a complete state of chaos.
The main target in these attacks by Tshisekedi’s thugs was former first lady and Kabila’s spouse, Olive Lembe Kabila before the police intervened and arrested some of the bandits while others fled.
“They were supposedly sent to come and physically eliminate me… We will resist,” said Mrs Olive Lembe Kabila during a press conference in Kinshasa.
