Opposition Ensemble Pour la Republique party leader Moïse Katumbi’s spokesperson Olivier Kamitatu has called on the Congolese population to rise to the occasion and take action on the incompetencies of impostor president Félix Tshisekedi and his failure to manage the security situation in the DR Congo.
Kamitatu has regretted that despite significant investments in the purchase of weapons and the use of mercenaries, Tshisekedi has completely failed to recover the territories under the control of the M23 rebels in the east.
He further the Congolese please that Tshisekedi’s ongoing campaign to amend the constitution in order to extend his mandate, could deepen internal divisions in the country.
“His stubbornness in wanting to change the Constitution in order to stay in power will formalize the division of the country,” Kamitatu declared.
In conclusion, Kamitatu called for national awareness to preserve the territorial integrity to avoid what he considers a dangerous drift for the future of the the DR Congo.
