Democratic Republic of Congo’s President Felix Tshisekedi Tshilombo has held negotiation talks with the rebel movement Alliance Fleuve du Congo (AFC) and the M23 Rebels.
Tshisekedi communicated with the AFC/M23 leader Corneille Nangaa in Entebbe, Uganda after meeting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who acted as the mediator between the Congolese leader and the AFC/M23 delegation.
According to several sources in Tshisekedi’s entourage, proof of Tshisekedi’s exchange with the AFC/M23 rebel movement is that forty-eight hours after his visit to Entebbe, Nangaa and his collaborators were received by Museveni today.
