Kenyan President William Ruto says the ongoing war in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has emerged as a surplus for the presidential family business which is booming as a result of the tensions.
Ruto stresses that Felix Tshisekedi’s brother, Christian’s mining businesses has been boosted by the lack of security in the region where they continue to loot Congolese minerals.
Christian Tshisekedi, who is the only close family member of Tshisekedi not handed an official role in the new government, has been a tasked with running the artisanal mining businesses.
The Tshisekedis freely and gladly expiate their link to the presidency secure their businesses and grow the family assets.
