Opposition Ensemble pour la Republique presidential spokesman Olivier Kamitatu says the disorder, confusion and disorganization of the election is symptomatic of President Felix Tshisekedi’s administration.
Not that CENI has a good job to deserve kudos, Kamitatu observes that the manner in which Kadima had organized a sham of an election was beyond embarrassing.
Kamitatu writes, “Well done Mr. Kadima! Everywhere there is confusion, disorder, delays and chaos…
“Indescribable situations are accumulating throughout the country!
“Ultimately, these elections reflect the regime: between the ridiculous, the grotesque and the tragic!
“In any case, the next day risks being much worse than the day before!
“This evening, to protect the votes of candidate #3 and break the circuits of planned and organized fraud, we will keep watch in front of the polling stations until the publication of the results and the delivery of the minutes to our witnesses.
“The optimism of the will suggests that these elections are a chance to put an end to the belittling of the DRC! You have to grab it!”
Shortly after voting, Katumbi also urged voters to protect their decision by keeping vigil at each polling station.
